Ex General Administration Minister Rekha Sharma

Ex General Administration Minister Rekha Shrma said “Technical Education is the base of prosperity”. She expressed this opinion in the occasion of Sports Program Ending Ceremony conducted by Rapti Engineering College (REC), Ghorahi, Dang.

Ex minister Rekha Sharma said that state has been increasing priority on technical education from this year. GoN has fixed the priority on education by allocating highest amount of budget for coming fiscal year 2076/2077, she said. She further added that improving condition of community education and increasing partnership with private institution is the current policy of education of this government.

She emphasized to build manpower respecting work and becoming good man rather than great man. Still today, our guardians have been advising their children “be great man, study properly, if not study properly you have to survive using plough”. As giving such tips/advices means the person who ploughs his land is small at all. However, education should be delivered in a manner to provide good man instead of great man forever, she added.

Sharma said that students should study their society and country along with their textbooks. Despite the better opportunity getting from IT, students should always careful about its misuse. Does society move forward in the wrong direction in the name of IT? Society should take special attention for the same. We should socialize new generation, she added.

Managing Director Mr. Bhimsen Giri, Director, MadhusudanVaidhya and Associate Editor of Naya Yugbodh national daily Narenda KC also addressed the program which was chaired by Chairperson of REC Mr. Shailendra Giri. Lecturer Er. Madhav Adhikari has conducted the program in which Mr. Resham Giri, Principal-REC has started his welcome speech. Different singing musical dancing arts were also performed by the students in this programs. In this occasion, different categorical medals, prizes and certificates were distributed to the winner students during sports week 2075. The program held on 2076/02/24.
