Completed training on the retrofitting

The training on the importance of retrofitting in the present context of Nepal for the students studying in the fourth and sixth semesters of Civil has been completed on 7 April 2021(25th Chaitra 2077) at REC, Ghorahi, Dang.

The chief guest of the program and executive director of National Society of Earthquake Technology-Nepal (NSET) Dr. Ramesh Guragain informed about the importance of retrofitting, the use and need of retrofitting in the vicinity of NEPAL, the method and cost of retrofitting and the work done by the National Earthquake Technology Society NEPAL in Ghorahi sub-metropolitan city.

BE-Civil Instructor Er. Kavi Raj Chaudhary started with the welcome speech. It was presided over by the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the College Dr. Shailendra Giri and facilitated by Academic Coordinator / HoD-BE Civil Er. B. R. Joshi. In addition, an agreement has been concluded between Rapti Engineering College (REC), Ghorahi Dang and National Society of Earthquake Technology-Nepal (NSET) to exchange support for strengthening for 5 years. In the agreement letter, Principal Resham Giri on behalf of the REC and Executive Director Dr.Ramesh Guragain on behalf of National Society of Earthquake Technology-Nepal (NSET) have signed.
