In the welcome and orientation program for the newly arrived students of diploma and pre-diploma level, Dr. Shailendra Giri said -'The education system of Nepal, which started from Guru Aashram, Kuti and Kharipati, has reached the distance education, school education, online education and mobile education.'
Similarly, he said, ``Discipline is important in student life, but self-discipline is more important than that. Students should follow personal discipline routine.'' Students need to develop knowledge, skills, behavior, attitudes requiring changing perception too, he said.
Earlier, in the village, the skills of the hoe, spade, plow maker, Damai who sews clothes, bamboo wood worker, carpenter who works with wood, and shoemaker were to be dominated and discriminated.
