On the day of Baishakh 18, 2080, the students who had completed their studies in Diploma in Computer Engineering 12th batch, Pre-Diploma in Survey and Electrical Engineering 8th batch, and Pre-Diploma in Civil Engineering 7th batch at Rapti Engineering College in Dang completed Farewell Program. During the farewell program, the chief guest, Sharad Adhikari, a central member of the Press Council Nepal, mentioned that engineering education plays a supportive role in the country to lead a better life through technical education. He urged to use the skills gained in technical education for the benefit of society and the nation, mentioning his own experience of using a skills in times of extreme need to do memorable work for the society and the nation. He said, "We need practical education, and that means we need technical education. Therefore, it is necessary to take technical education to the villages." The students were urged to work hard as per the demand of the labor market, to win the hearts of everyone by being disciplined, to continue to work consistently, and to use the technical information system to maintain self-respect and establish the feeling of self-confidence among everyone.

Principal Resham Giri, speaking at a program held under his leadership, had stated that "Our products have spread to local, provincial, and federal levels, and at least 90% of the technical manpower of Rapti Engineering College has obtained employment opportunities from Lumbini Province." He recalled that the dream of technical education has now been fulfilled as students produced by the college are employed in various government and non-governmental sectors. He also mentioned that they have joined the campaign for social transformation through education. He also stressed that REC graduate should work to fulfill the expectation of REC, University, Society & Nations.

The guest at the farewell program, Director Madhusudan Vaidhaya of Rapti Engineering College, had urged the students to use their skills and employability created by continuous training activities for job creation. The program was started from the welcome speech of instructor Naresh Kumar Tharu, and the departmental head of the BCA, Bishwobandhu Thapa, had facilitated the program. On that occasion, students of the Diploma in Computer Engineering, Civil, Electrical, and Survey Engineering had presented dances, poems, essays, and ghazals.
