On the day of Baishakh 8th, 2080. A free Computer Training Program was inaugurated at the Rapti Engineering College in Ghorahi, Dang. The program was coordinated by Rapti Engineering College, Dang in association with Ghorahi sub-metro ward- 16 office Dang to support students giving SEE exam & currently residing at their home.
Dr. Bhimsen Giri, the Chairman of the Rapti Engineering College Management Committee and Managing Director, presided over the program and emphasized the importance of making good use of free time for the students of Ward 16. He also highlighted that since computer education is a technical education, it is essential for everyone to have access to this education to perform any task.
The chief guest of the program, Lecturer Nim Bahadur Dangi of Pokhara University, emphasized the need for computer education to benefit the world. He stated that various types of courses, including basic computer courses, are necessary and mandatory for everyone requiring disciplined and receive proper training. He requested everyone to learn about small things related to the courses before starting any course.
The chief guest of the program, Tara Bahadur Dangi, Ward Chairman of Ghorahi Sub Metro-16, had express thanks to REC family for organizing time of free computer training for the residents of this ward. The college family was grateful for this opportunity and urged everyone to make the most of it.
Madhusudan Vaidhaya, the director of the college, stated that the free computer training program was organized in collaboration with the office of Ghorahi Sub-Metro-16 for social responsibility.
The program was initiated with a welcome speech by the college principal, Resham Ghiri, and the BCA head, Bishowbandhu Thapa, has facilities the program.
